Public institution for management of protected parts of nature and ecological network of Virovitica-Podravina County (Public Institution Virovitica Nature) participates as a partner in numerous projects that revitalize or additionally improve protected parts of nature. The public institution also carries out activities on project preparation and implementation, species monitoring, rescue of endangered species, and activities on the development of sustainable forms of tourism in protected areas of Virovitica-Podravina County.
Constant investments in the tourist infrastructure of protected areas have been reflected in the number of visitors who can explore all the charms and beauties of the natural heritage of Virovitica-Podravina County throughout the year. In order to further implement certain nature protection measures, the Public Institution Virovitica Nature has decided to set visitor management system in the visitor center The Drava Story.
In order to strengthen the capacity for managing the number of visitors, the Public Institution Virovitica Nature decided to install equipment for monitoring the number of visitors in outdoor areas.
To deliver a quality and complete solution of the visitor management system in order for the Public Institution Virovitica Nature to obtain quality data for the implementation of marketing communication activities and increase visitor satisfaction.
Taking into account the specificity of the location through which various visitors pass (walkers, runners, mountaineers, cyclists, etc.), it was necessary to connect the external installation of different types of counters via a software. It was also necessary to deliver a complementary application with a questionnaire filled out by a visitor at an interactive kiosk or tablet in a visitor center The Drava Story.
Visitor satisfaction tracking software (PandoPad® Customer FeedBack), visitor record software, tablets and PandoPad® WALL units were supplied. Visitor satisfaction tracking software can work on tablets, mobile devices and interactive kiosks and is connected to a central content management system (CMS system). The visitor record software provides the ability to generate simple statistical reports and is also connected to a central content management system.
PandoPad® Customer FeedBack provides for customer surveys regarding quality of service and also includes complaint/praise entry forms. Collected information may be sent as a web form to customer’s systems, or to a dedicated email address, or can be stored in PandoPad® Manager’s data base.
The application consists of a home screen where users can select language, read a short message (about completing the survey) and push the button to launch the application. It is possible to enter several pages with questions and assign feedback or answers via emoticons. The application ends with a short thank you message.
