New TIC space opened

Today a newly refurbished area of the Tourist information centre was opened in Šibenik, whose design project was signed by the Studio 25.4 mm in Šibenik. The space, with a total area of 50 m2, is situated on the coast of the fallen youth 3, and the refurbishment itself, which includes installation works, construction and crafts works, it equipment, amounts to 750,000.00 HRK.

“The space is really beautifully decorated; stone walls dominate, with a special detail with corals; it is equipped so that we can visually show all our natural beauties, cultural and historical sites, facilities and many events. Because of everything that is happening in Šibenik, especially in the tourism sense, we deserve such a representative space that will certainly expand in the future," said mayor Željko Burić, congratulating TZ City Office director Dinu Karađoli on the well-done work, as well as everything he is doing on the city's tourist promotion.

"After several months of intense work, we are opening this space today, which is truly on the pride of the city. The old TIC got worn out with time, became too small and inappropriately decorated, and since the city is in a tourist expansion, we decided to invest in a larger space. This is also the reception of Šibenik and it has to be a mirror of the city, and I think that, by combining the traditional and modern, we managed to do this job for the satisfaction of both tourists and TIC employees, as well as citizens of Šibenik.”

Today's opening ceremony, in addition to the director of the Tourist Board of the town Dino Karađola, the mayor and president of the Tourist Board of Šibenik Željko BuriĆ, was attended by the county prefect of Šibenik-Knin Goran Pauk, the director of the Tourist Board of Šibenik Office TZ Šibenik-Knin County Željana ŠikiĆ, the authors of the project: Ivana LoziĆ, Marko PaiĆ and Robert Škugor - the contractor - Studio 24,5 mm.
