Multimedia totem for the Repušnica visitor center in Lonjsko polje Nature Park
Lonjsko Polje Nature Park decided to equip the Repušnica visitor center with a new interactive totem in order to present the tourist offer of Moslavina and the Lonjsko polje Nature Park in a modern way. The Repušnica Visitor Center receives visitors from all parts of the world and lots of interesting events are being organized in order to attract guests from various places. Therefore, setting up an intractive totem is a good example of how it is possible to encourage the development of continental tourism in areas that have great tourist and economic potential.
Lonjsko Polje Nature Park is considered one of the largest and best preserved natural floodplains in Europe and its uniqueness lies in the richness of flora and fauna. Also, the inclusion of the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park in the Ramsar List, as well as its proclamation as one of the most important bird habitats in Europe (IBA) is especially important in preserving its international significance.
Background
In order to provide visitors with various informative and entertaining content in the form of interactive applications, Lonjsko Polje Nature Park has decided to equip the Repušnica visitor center with an interactive totem.
Challenge
The main challenge was to design the concept and content of our PandoPad solutions that would entertain visitors with interactive content and provide useful information about the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park in a multimedia format.
Our approach
The solution needed to be equipped with a package of centrally managed multimedia applications and in the creative part of the project it was necessary to develop visual content and design user interfaces.
Solutions
With the application of our products: PandoPad® Manager, PandoPad® Applications and PandoPad® TOTEM units, all interactive services necessary for presenting the information about the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park have been realized.
Visitors have the opportunity to try many interactive applications through which they will explore the beauties of the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park and the city of Kutina by browsing brochures and photo albums.
It is also possible to look through various bicycle and hiking trails, boat trails and horseback riding trails.
Interactive content is created and managed from the PandoPad® Manager system which is easily accessed via a web browser. It allows you to turn on or off the display of individual PandoPad applications, manage all multilingual content, images, photos, videos, display schedule, etc.
In this example, we see the PandoPad® eCard Selfie application through which visitors can select one of the offered images, insert a photo of their face and send a virtual / digital postcard using the integrated e-mail system.
