Multimedia kiosk for the Best Stay conference

The Best Stay is a specialized conference of the tourism sector that opens a whole range of interesting topics, and brings together various experts from award-winning regional and foreign hotels and apartments. In order for the organizers to provide visitors with more information about the content of the conference, lecturers, sponsors, organizers and to entertain them with fun content, an interactive kiosk has been set up.

Every year, 200-300 participants take part in this event for two days in the form of a conference, exhibition space, as well as concrete meetings. The topics of the Best Stay program are the latest trends in tourism and ensuring the best possible guest experience, with an emphasis on Croatian and international examples.

Background

In order for the organizers to easily present the program content of the Best Stay conference, it was necessary to establish an interactive kiosk at the conference space.

Challenge

Deliver a quality visually impressive, and at the same time cost-effective solution in the form of an interactive kiosk that will be well noticed and accepted by conference visitors.

Our approach

The solution needed to be equipped with a package of centrally managed multimedia applications and in the creative part of the project it was necessary to develop visual content and design user interfaces.

Solutions

With the application of our products: PandoPad® Manager, PandoPad® Applications and PandoPad® FLOOR unit, all interactive services necessary for informing and presenting the Best Stay conference have been realized.

Visitors have the opportunity to explore the rich program of the conference, meet its speakers, sponsors and organizational team, view various brochures, explore the city of Opatija through various photos, etc.

Through the interactive kiosk, it is also possible to rate the entire conference in order for visitors to win tickets to the Best Stay Croatia party.

In this example we see the PandoPad® eCard application through which users can select one of the offered images and send a virtual / digital postcard using the integrated e-mail system.

In this example, we see the PandoPad® Outdoor Way Finder application that offers a location map. Using PandoPad® Manager, you enter 'POIs' (POIs) on Google Maps, opening them to display more detailed information or the path from where the PandoPad totem is located to the selected point.
